Thanks Tony! I hope that you make that cross-country trip soon. :D There’s just so much to see out there and the only way to see it is to drive. It doesn’t matter which route you take, on your way back you’ll be planning a different route for the next time. Lots of fun! :D

Of course, driving would be the only way to really see what you want to see :D The only time I was ever "cross country" on the ground was by train.....NYC to Chicago..Denver...Seattle :D :D But, of course, you miss so much :cry: at night, and only go where the tracks take you Must admit though, that I LOVE sleeping in one's own little room, watching the "night world" go by, with the clickety clack in the background. Probably didn't sleep all that much :lol: :lol:

Liz, sounds like you had fun and the night ride would be interesting to gaze at the stars without any filtration, oh, and the photos would be unbelievable. Added to list of things to do :)
