Looks liek someone set fire to it !! :D :D From the write ups on their air and water quality, I think if you lit a match....it would all go up in flames.

Hong Kong What a shame they didn't have the cam aimed a little higher.....we could have seeen the show of lights from the buildings.I have friends off to the Med for a cruise next year and after seeing a Getaway programme on HongKong which featured the nightly display they have chosen to take a stopover there.

A bit more History on that area........ After the Mutiny on the Bounty Captain Bligh sailed through there...... Bligh and 18 other crew members loyal to him were set adrift on April 28th in the Bounty’s launch, an open boat, 23-foot long by 6’9” wide. In most cases such an act would have led to certain death for the men aboard, but Bligh was a magnificent seaman and he sailed from Tofua, one of the Friendly Islands, landing in Timor, Java, without any loss of life on June 14th. The journey of 3618 nautical miles took them 47 days.

THIS is wonderful, David. Yes, knew the who and in WHAT, but did not realize the WHERE  :D :D Score one for Captain Bligh

Lots of history up there Liz. Hope they have an on board lecturer for your cruise. Cook landed or discovered just about everywhere and everything down here. There are memorials to him all over the place. By the way SS Mariner is due in Hobart tomorrow. It will be interesting to see where she docks as it will give a clue to where Princess may go. Good chance to play with the Hobart cam as well.

:D :D :D Thanks for reminding me about Mariner in Hobart :D :D For those that don't know, here is the cam :D http://wphc-webcam.federalit.net/#

Looks a poor day, but I cannot see a cruise ship. Maybe it is berthed around the point.

Liz- 11-19-2006

Its another question of which day is tomorrow, Jackie :D Mariner is due in Hobart at 8am, Monday, Nov 20. That would be 4pm this afternoon, Sunday, Nov 19 for me and 9pm, this evening, your time :D
