Pacific Princess has had a rather GREY day in The Bay of Islands today. Guess who is going to be there in Feb,on Valentines Day, on Oriana?

Tahitian Princess sailing out of Papeete. Final shot is as she is straightening up to leave the harbour and looking across to Moorea....... It gives an idea of how close Moorea is to the Main Island of Tahiti.

How long do they take to get there- overnight ,circling or 2 ports in a day?

OMG, David, you are getting on Oriana as Jo and Al are getting off :D :D :D AND, you will be in Sydney on Feb 17, and I don't get there til the 18th :cry: :cry: :cry: OF COURSE, one could go back to Auckland via Sydney :?:

Wow David Have only just seen your cruise! So Keith gets on for New Year and hands over to us, then we pass on care to you!! A couple we met on Pacific Princess also get on in Auckland so we were hoping to meet them for a coffee before they boarded so we may see you there! :lol: :lol: :lol:

How long do they take to get there- overnight ,circling or 2 ports in a day? Moorea is only a short ferry ride from Papeete....about an hour and a bit,or quicker on the fast ferry.I think cruise ships that have it as the next port of call just sit out at sea for the night so they can open the bars and casinos. So Keith gets on for New Year and hands over to us, then we pass on care to you!! Looks like our board will have Oriana covered,well and truly.... OF COURSE, one could go back to Auckland via Sydney The flight back is through Sydney,but it will be a a mad dash from the Domestic to the International Terminal.Trying to use up Air Points and the direct flight leaves too early from Brisbane,so forced to go via Sydney and pay all the airport taxes,which are nearly as much as a flight would cost!!!
