OCEAN VILLAGE- Jan 2004 We used to sunbathe on the lowest deck that you can see. Our cabin ( outside) was the 1st one through the door on the left. It was not what we had booked( we were upgraded) but it was the largest one which we had ever had. I was told it was larger than avaerage as the ship used to be the old P&O ARCADIA and P&O ships usually have larger cabins. Is that also true for 'old' Princess ships, which used to be ROYAL PRINCESS?- Same parent company.

Jackie, when we did South America on the Royal Princess we were upgraded to a mini suite. It was WAY bigger than the mini suite we had on Star Princess in May! I really think you will be pleased with Artemis! :D

Tenerife - different angle

Shame about the clouds, normally you can see Mount Teide from the sea( and from La Gomera( nearest island to TENERIFE, a 2 mile boat ride away from Los Cristianos on the S. coast of Tenerife.

Pacific Princess is currently approaching Chennai (Madras), as dawn is about to break in India.Can't see much at the moment but may be worth a look shortly.

Missed the sunrise :cry: , but very interesting to see Madras :D
