Thanks for the Cadiz photos, glad that someone had a pleasant day there. I am still not convinced that the FORCE 6 wind from the S.E was the only reason we were not allowed in to the harbour. Noro ( Norwalk) Virus had been confirmed the previous day when we were in Lisbon. I just wish I had known that a fit ship flies a yellow flag and I would had looked out for it. Just half an hour before, the Captain had told us that our tours would be half an hour late and then he was telling us that we weren't going in. Maybe the pilot had not fancied the jump on to the ship!  Or did the Spanish authorities not want us???? I suppose I will never know the real truth.

Excuse my ignorance David but where or what is Burnie?? Burnie is a delightful town on the Northern Coast of Tasmania. Its main claim to fame is that it has the worlds largest pile of wood chips on its wharf, something that Liz will see soon.It supports a paper factory and a cheese factory, both of which Liz will see soon. The people are very friendly and just about every house in Burnie boasts a sea view. The surrounding countryside is very scenic and well worth a tour.Lots of dairy farms that supply cream to the Cadburys factory in Hobart. The townsfolk of Burnie are going all out to get the Cruise Ships to call, and the Mayor greets every ship. They are competing with Hobart as a port of call in Tasmania.

Liz- 11-08-2006

PP will do both Hobart and Burnie :D :D :D
