Fire on s.s. Rotterdam
I just received this news from my correspondent in Wilhelmshaven.
Saturday's newspaper headed: Fire on the s.s. Rotterdam.
Friday afternoon, a fire broke out on the s.s. Rotterdam, just after the end of the workinghours, probably in a dressingroom.
Wilhelmshaven's Firebrigade was present just five minutes after the fire was reported and thanks to the practice they had on the ship, they knew how to find their way and could extinguish the fire.
It is not known yet how much damage there is.
