The Casino Park Hotel, which I believe has been re-named the Pestana Casino Park.
It was closed when we were there last August, for a Re-hab which was going to take a year. They were partially re-opening for Christmas as the public rooms were completed, but would not be fully re-open until May 2007.
All the guests who were already booked were accomodated at 'The Grand' which is the newest Pestana hotel, 3 miles out of town. Too far out IMO.
