Jackie, how on earth did you post your post, yesterday :?: :?: :D You seem to be the only one of us who managed to actually do this :D :D during the log-in crisis I posted in the hotel ( €5 for 2 hrs) but immediatly I hit 'submit 'I could not read my post. I tried later Sunday, so I could tell Jo about Santa Cruz, but by that time my account had run dry, in other words I had not logged off properly and the shut down had cost me! Arrived home late last night and have been trying to catch up ever since.

NEW FERRY SERVICE
You need to be used to hilly climbs. We had a gap of approx 20 years between our 1st & 2nd visit- I now consider those as wasted years. A new ferry service is to be launched in June. El Volcan de Timanfaya's maiden voyage departs : Las Palmas Gran Canaria at18.30pm 16 th June for Santa Cruz Tenerife. Departs Santa Cruz 21.45pm Arrives Funchal , Madeira 10.30 following day. Return Sunday evenings at 19.00 arriving Tenerife 00.11 Monday morning. The ferry is like a cruise ship. capacity for 1,000 passengers with 250 cabins. www.naviera-armas.com The site is in Spanish & Portugese however and appears to be a booking form only.
