How disappointing, after all the buildup to the move. :( I wonder who checked the tide charts. :?: :? Do you think they might have to do some dredging?

and did anyone sound the channel to see how deep the water
really was?
Move especially coordinated for highest high tide, .....full moon last night....
WONDER will happens next :?: :?:
LOVE the cartoon, Cliff :D :D :D
It appears that the mud it has been setting in all these years will not let go of the lady. That has to create a strong suction that the tugs must try to break.
Just reading that they had already dredged some 26,000 cubic yards of silt away from her.
Maybe they should try depth charges :?: :?:
Great cartoon!
Now, they really need that $100,000 for additional cost  :P
I didn't think she'd budge at all. I was telling Ed just the other day that she'd have one hell of an amount of suction in all that mud.
They would have to dredge/suction up all the mud around her hull in order to have a chance.
HEH...I have the image from Raise the Titanic in my head when they had to use explosives to break her loose. ;)
Don't know what cam this is coming from :?: , but it is being broadcast on the Intrepid website
