I cought a bit of it on the news yesterday and was thrilled they finally got her to move!

Usually the Intrepid cam shows where she USED to be next to the N.Y. pass. terminal..today we have a shot from her at her drydock..can't really see that anything has changed...but I am sure plenty has been done.

Interesting shots...I admit that I would not know when something has been done to a Destroyer....completely clueless as to their structure.

She would be insulted, Dani...Destroyer??? she's an aircraft carrier...MUCH larger! Big Mama! CJ

Duh ! I should have known they only name the Big Ones after Presidents. Wonder if that will be the case when and if we get a WOMAN Pres. ? ( Nobody in particular...just a woman .... President CJ...yeah, I like that...sounds good ! )

Looks like they have moved Intrepid out of her drydock. Site says she will be moved to Staten Island for the rest of her repairs...??? too foggy to get any pic from ESB cam.

Hmmmm :?: :?: Yes, was looking for Journey on the ESB cam earlier......NOT A CHANCE :cry: Kind of a misty morning here right now, but quite pleasant. Expect it should burn off later and get HOT :roll:

Captured these of Intrepid being moved from Bayone NJ to Staten Island this morning. Pretty quick transit considering the troubles they had moving from Manhattan to Bayone. I can figure out the "general" area they are in but can't pinpoint where she is exactly on the ESB cam. :? This last picture is from the ESB cam...can anyone pinpoint her. HOW CAN I NOT SEE AN AIRCRAFT CARRIER THAT BIG ??? :?:

The Verrazano Bridge connects Brooklyn with Staten Island, and you can only see a tiny bit of Staten Island in the upper right of the picture. So, she would be off camera. CJ

Found an article pinpointing her new home in Staten Island at the Homeport Pier on Front st. That is the green arrow. Red arrow is where she was. She is now closer to the Verrazanno Bridge than she was. As I was afraid, the ESB cam just won't give any kind of close up at that distance :cry: Think it USED to, but no longer :rant:
