OK, I've worn my fingers to the bone today, posting "Bon Voyage" messages to all you lucky people cruising in the next few weeks  As Dani is visiting Bavaria, I might just have to house-sit the infamous 'sulking corner' There has been quite a bit of talk on the Bridgecam thread about Pacific Princess's current circumnavigation itinerary, that Liz & I will be doing 28 February 2007. Early I know, and my excuse is?......just can't wait.:D Wondering what Liz will be doing between Christmas and mid-February? Most likely putting together a massive cam/stalk thread! Time to reach for the atlas my friends, (or request one for Christmas  ) So here it is folks - All the Seas & Oceans - well, 4 Seas, 3 Oceans, 2 Straits and a Bight (seriously) The whole itinerary for the 28 days voyage (big time in the sulking corner for Dani  ) 28 Feb Sydney (Darling Harbour) sailing at 5pm 1 Mar At sea - Cruising South Pacific Ocean 2 Mar Brisbane 8am to 6pm 3 Mar At sea - Cruising Coral Sea - & crossing Tropic of Capricorn 4 Mar Whitsunday Islands 8am to 4pm 5 Mar Cairns 9am to 11pm 6 Mar Cooktown 8am to 6pm 7 Mar At sea - Cruising Great Barrier Reef - and Torres Strait 8 Mar Thursday Island (on a Thursday :D ) 9 Mar At sea - Cruising Arafura Sea 10 Mar Darwin 8am to 6pm 11 Mar At sea - Cruising Timor Sea 12 Mar Broome 9am to 6pm 13 Mar At sea - Cruising Indian Ocean 14 Mar Exmouth 8am to 6pm 15 Mar At Sea - Cruising Indian Ocean & crossing Tropic of Capricorn (again) 16 Mar Fremantle 8am to midnight 17 Mar Bunbury 8am t0 4pm 18 Mar Albany 9am to 6pm 19 Mar At sea - Cruising Great Australian Bight 20 Mar At sea - Cruising Great Australian Bight 21 Mar Adelaide 8am to 4pm 22 Mar Cruising Southern Ocean 23 Mar Hobart 10am to midnight 24 Mar Cruising Tasman Sea 25 Mar Burnie 8am to 5pm, crossing Bass Strait 26 Mar Melbourne 8am to 8pm 27 Mar Cruising Tasman Sea 28 Mar Sydney arrive 7am   101 sleeps, 101 sleeps :P

Dani- 11-20-2006

I never liked March anyway.

Kiwi Kruzer- 11-20-2006

Fabulous cruise Robyn....... and the last chance to do it on our favourite ship . Next season we will have Sun Princess instead of Pacific Princess. Friends have booked the Nov07 circumnavigation cruise and they say it is heavily booked all ready. They are going with friends and got the last 2 balconies ,side by side, in the grade they wanted, and on the port side. Pacific Princess will be wonderful....... Can you imagine nearly 2,000 passengers descending on Thursday Island? Some of the Thursday Islanders probably don't even realise that there are that many people in the whole wide world.

Joanne48- 11-20-2006

Robyn, looks great     Looked up Bight on Wikipedia and see the Australian one is a Prominent Bight! Does that mean the sea sticks up prominently??? :? :? Bight (geography) From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia In geography, a bight has two meanings. It can be simply a bend or curve in any geographical feature—usually a bend or curve in the line between land and water. Alternatively, it can refer to a large (and often only slightly receding) bay. It is distinguished from a sound by being shallower. Prominent bights Great Australian Bight Bight of Benin Bight of Bonny German Bight or Heligoland Bight New York Bight Southern California Bight
