Another short cruise.6 days on Oriana from Auckland to Brisbane.Part of her World Cruise.Was on her 10 years ago,just Auckland to Sydney, and sailed into to a tumultuous welcome in the Sydney Harbour as it was her maiden call there.It will be interesting to see how the ship is faring after 10 years, and also a chance to check out her la-*test*-('") refit.This will be cruise No 4 on Oriana,previous being 2 Trans Tasman crossings, and a Pacific Voyage from Auckland to Honolulu. Itinerary as follows.......... Tue 13 Feb Auckland, New Zealand - 8PM (Jo disembarks) Wed 14 Feb Bay of Islands, New Zealand - 8AM 6PM (Valentines Day Lunch with friends at Paihia) Thurs 15 Feb At Sea Fri 16 Feb At Sea Sat 17 Feb Sydney, Australia - 7AM 11.59PM (Lunch with Robyn) Sun 18 Feb At Sea Mon 19 Feb Brisbane, Australia - 8AM Fly Qantas back to Auckland.

Now I could do with a short Brisbane to SydneyCruise Jan 14/15/16/17 2008? Must start looking at itinnaries, any company will do.

Once again going on Silja Europa´s short cruise. 26-27 Dec. Turku - kapellskär - Turku. I think this is 50th time onboard that ship or at least almost :lol: :lol:

Hi folks! Not sure if I put this in the right place but some friends of mine are going on the Golden Princess South America/Antarctica cruise in a few weeks taking in Rio, Puerto Madryn, Falkland Is., Ushaia and back to Buenos Aires (sounds fabulous!). Does anyone have any tips / must sees / things to avoids that they can share? They are first time cruisers! I will be doing my best to stalk them but there don't seem to be many opportunities other than the Golden's Wedding cam. Cheers folks!

Poppy, they MUST be going on the same one as Cruiser John :D :D :D Although, he is leaving on the prior one this Saturday to Rio and then continuing on Never been to any of these ports :cry: but it sounds FABULOUS.... HOW ON EARTH did I miss this post yesterday :?: This cruise will be detailed on his stalk :D No NOT many port cams, that I can find, except the pictures from Ushuaia And, Port Stanley has a webcam, but have never seen a cruise ship on it :(

OK, indulge me here, for a minute :D Just reminiscing :D One year ago, today, Robyn was here and we were in the midst of a Party of the Century :D :D Today, then, Jan 2, 2006 was a snow day, rest and recovery from jet lag. Tomorrow we hit the city :D and then the PARTY :D :D :D Gosh, how much has changed and how MUCH has stayed the same :D :D :D
