Sailing Carnival's Elation x2
Well, I did it. :D
I have been salivating about taking a cruise...Thought I would do the short five days on Celebration from Jacksonville, FL because it is only a two hour drive. Thought of doing two back to back, nine or ten days. Went in to see travel agent today, and we investigated all sorts of options: Senior discount, past passenger credit, military discount...And then called Carnival. Ended up with two five day Bahamas cruises back to back on Elation. Identical itinerary, Grand Turk, Half Moon Cay and Nassau. Lowest category inside cabin on Riviera deck...even has an inside corridor...Upper and lower bunk. I asked if those of us in steerage were permitted to eat with the other passengers...I get to keep the same cabin for both cruises. AND...the cost was slightly less than $800, including taxes and port charges.
Sooo...Here it is:
April 23: Depart Port Canaveral 1600
April 24: At Sea
April 25: Grand Turk, 0700-1430
April 26: Half Moon Cay 0930-1800
April 27: Nassau 0700-1500
April 28: Arrive Port Canaveral 0700; Depart Port Canaveral 1600
April 29: At Sea
April 30: Grand Turk 0700-1430
May 1: Half Moon Cay 0930-1800
May 2: Nassau 0700-1500
May 3: Arrive Port Canaveral 0700
CJ
You go...sounds like a nice vacation.! We can stalk you in Port Canaveral and Nassau.

Not if you were on Cunard CJ
But hey, its a cruise.
Well done CJ. Great price, makes us Brits green!
We too go for the cheapest cabin so we can squeeze more cruises out of the budget.
We are not ones for sitting on the balcony or spending time in the cabin.
I think I am too nsey, I want to be up and about people watching!
Same as us...over the years we gave been in a suite, balcony,
window and inside cabin.
Finally realized that inside cabin is all we need as we are mostly out and about.
It also gives us money to spend on the extras.
This next cruise we have a window cabin but that is because it was the same price as the inside. Go Figure !
