No we are allowed one bag checked into the hold with all of 23kg weight allowance. As Albert has Elite status on Princess because of previous P&O cruises we get free laundry so our outfits will be clean but repetetive!
It was cabin baggage that worried me as at one time you were not allowed to take even a book on board with you. I couldn't imagine a 9 hour flight with nothing to read!
We are hoping to check our bags throught from Manchester to Mumbai, but we have an overnight stop at London Heathrow so will not be able to have in the cabin with us any toiletries or cosmetics. We will have to rely on buying cheap disposables in the Airport. Worth putting up with so as not to have to queue for 4 hours twice to check bags in again.
