Now that is what I call a voyage  I am just a little bit green

Kiwi Kruzer- 01-16-2008

Now that is what I call a voyage Looking forward to it Stephen. It is funny how some cruises come about. All I was doing was searching for a cruise that went into the Black Sea,noticed that the Rott was going there,so traced back to find its earlier cruises to combine a back to back. When I saw the prices for the repositioning from Rio to Athens I was hooked, (price has doubled since I booked), so went for it and tucked in Valpo to Rio at the same time. The Black Sea will just have to wait for another year.

redqueen- 01-16-2008

That sounds fabulous David. I am feeling more than a little green monster, but I am excited for you.

robyn- 01-17-2008

Fabulous, fabulous itinerary David :D Well, I'm more than a little bit green...I am completely GREEN with envy....this will be a wonderful voyage

tigersxm- 01-17-2008

Another one on the green side here! Nice looooong cruise, great itinerary!!! Wish I were going...but, since I am not, I'm glad you are, David!!! :D   This will be a fun cruise to follow. Just wish Rotterdam had a cam!!! Do you get to stay in the same cabin for the entire trip???

Kiwi Kruzer- 01-17-2008

Do you get to stay in the same cabin for the entire trip??? We shift to the next door cabin at Rio......... but that is our own fault .....should have booked it all in the one go.

tigersxm- 01-17-2008

8) Moving next door will be easy! :D

Liz- 01-17-2008

Just went googling on HAL. Anybody care to take a guess at what this might mean :?: :?: :?:

Kiwi Kruzer- 01-17-2008

Anybody care to take a guess at what this might mean They do have webcams. Like all ships it is relayed into the cabins. They just dont want to hook up and put it on line.Being part of Carnival all they have to do is link it into the Princess system like Cunard do. ( I think????) Or perhaps Princess want to charge them too much.

Kiwi Kruzer- 01-17-2008

8) Moving next door will be easy! :D Should be a breeze. We did it once before on Aurora and they brought in mobile hanging frames and everything went through in 1 hit.Empty the drawers into the suitcase and its all done.P&O even offered to do it all for us while we went ashore, but we declined their offer and did it all in a few minutes.

Kiwi Kruzer- 02-09-2008

Just found out a change in our itinerary.Tripoli has been cancelled (no surprise) and replaced by Dubrovnik, plus we get an extra port,Agrostoli. Due to VISA complications, the Rotterdam's call to Tripoli (Libya) on April 28th has been replaced with alternate ports of call to Dubrovnik (Croatia) and Argostoli (Greece). The new itinerary shows: Mon 28 Apr Dubrovnik, Croatia 8:00a - 4:00p Tue 29 Apr Argostoli, Cephalonia, Greece 10:00a - 5:00p Wed 30 Apr Santorini, Greece 7:00a - 7:00p (ps Went back and changed the itinerary above.I was not aware that the edit function would work.)

robyn- 02-09-2008

David, Dubrovnik is a wonderful port....if you haven't been there already :?: Gotta go google Argostoli now to see what is there. I though we could only edit our posts for around 20 minutes or so after they were posted, and that otherwise, they could only be edited by our clever administrators ??? :D
