Yes CJ it is a B2B. IF it gets going, currently has an engine problem but the y are hoping to get the right part next week so fingers crossed. I don't think it would affect us as we are only hopping down the coasts no long stretches really. Liz thanks a lot for this will have to investigate the cams and find a suitable stalk spot!! :lol: :lol:

Thanks everyone, had visitors the last 2 weekends so only just starting to think about packing etc. There is one web forum following the engine problems rather closely (lots of conspiracy theories!) and at the moment there are quite a few changes to scheduled itinerary and it is not clear whether the engine has been repaired or not. I will call them tomorrow to find out if they will tell me anything. Does dampen the enthusiasm somewhat. :cry:

Hope all goes well for your cruise. I noticed we will just miss each other in a couple of ports. :D

I have just phoned VoD as I was concerned that if we were to make private arrangements for ports then we could be out of pocket if changes were made. I asked if the engine had been fixed and if not what the plans were and what effect it would have on our cruise. The agent I spoke to went off line and said he had spoken to their MD and The engine has not yet been fixed There were no safety issues running on 3 engines For our cruise there would be no disruption to scheduled itinerary. The repairs would be ongoing during our cruise. So fingers crossed folks :lol:

Just hope you are not falling over engineers every which way you turn!
