Kiel Canal

I tried to reboot, and as slow as Vista is, I couldn't evenn got so far as to get onto the internet, so I just shut it down and went to bed. Whenn I got up six hours later, I booted up and everything seems to be back to normal...CJ

Thank goodness, I hope things stay ok :)

So much for the schedule...At the time Royal Princess should have been entering the Kiel-H locks, she was already past the Rendsburg cam, so this is all I could get. Nasty day for a transit. CJ

Silver Wind in the canal today, two hours late...still only one lock at Brunsb. end.

Double Header today
Silver Wind at Rendsburg and Schacht-Audorf: And a surprise: I looked at the Canal cup cam/map about an hour after she came through the locks, and found Kristina Regina right behind her...not on any of the schedules. She actually passedd her and went past the cams first. The Kiel Kanal Live cam is stuck on noon yesterday. CJ

Ocean Monarch today
Ocean Monarch was scheduled for the Brunsb. locks at 0100 (1900 for me) and I was in Savannah. I figured I would be home well in time to get her on the bridge cam, but when I finally got home (2200) she was nowhere in the canal. A few minutes later I check Canal cup AIS and see her red arrow...Quick check of UCA cam and she is just entering the lock...4 hours late...At least she gets daylight for transit! CJ

Meanwhile, back at the ranch...Regatta makes her entrance at Brunsb. the usual four hours late: She was already at the entrance before I remembered she has a bridge cam: Time to apply the BRAKES!!!

Grand Voyager
Grand Voyager today. The schedule had her entering at Kiel-Holtenau, but after a while, I looked at the schedule to see she was on a cruise Barcelona-Copenhagen...So it would make sense that she enter at Brunsbeuttel. Three hours after she should have been there, I gave up for a nap. When I got up, she was about an hour from the first cam.
