Joanne, have you any news about the dock? I have heard that sections have been moved to dry dock, but I don't know why. The dock should have been in place in May, they are cutting it very fine to have it ready for September.

Thanks Albert :) does not sound good at all.
Oh dear, not looking good at all
First section is going in now :) :) :) :) :) :) :)
Must go and have a look in the morning, thanks for letting us know Stephen.
You're welcome  you might get to see the other sections being put on place. :)
Great pictures thanks Abert :) So nice to see activity at last.
Supposedly this cam is pointed directly at the installation, but I don't know just where I am supposed to look :?: :?:

It doesn't show too well on the cam, being small in relation to the whole picture.
The Royal Liver Buiding (where I worked for 35 years!) is the building just right of centre with two towers. Follow the right hand tower (nearer the river) down to the river and the new stage section is there.
The light pillars rising fro the river at the water's edge are the mooring points for the new stage sections, so if you move left from the first section you can see where the other three will go.
We've just come back from looking at it from this (Birkenhead) side of the river. Binoculars helped!
Apparently it was hoped to complete the intallation by Monday, but while we were down there the river was quite choppy and the ferry from Dublin was making quite a job of coming alongside, so I would doubt that another section could be moved today.
Albert.
