This may give a better view, but it was a poor day and the Irish ferry blocked a view directly across. If you look at the high tower, below it is a red brick building with a white frontage. Just in front of that you can see the winged roof of the first part of the dock. To the left of a small orange ship.

Doesn't look as if there has been any more movement over the weekend, despite some talk in the local papers that it would be all done for today! But that's scousers for you!! :lol: :lol:

Yes Jackie, I have seen that post. Not got my invitation, but there is still time. I know I will get to go to the concert, but not sure about the official opening. Maybe I will get it onboard. As for lunch on QE2 I will get that anyway :lol:
