This may give a better view, but it was a poor day and the Irish ferry blocked a view directly across.
If you look at the high tower, below it is a red brick building with a white frontage. Just in front of that you can see the winged roof of the first part of the dock. To the left of a small orange ship.

Yes Jackie, I have seen that post. Not got my invitation, but there is still time. I know I will get to go to the concert, but not sure about the official opening. Maybe I will get it onboard. As for lunch on QE2 I will get that anyway :lol:
