Good news, Liz
Liz, Diana and I are counting on all of you there to ensure good weather
for our visit. We expect nothing less that warm, sunny days. Please don't
disappoint us.
Thanks

Jackie...do not despair...I am sure the weather will be WONDERFUL for the vist of your Atlantic 'cousins'
Just remember though, I am holding Adrian to his bold promise that the NEXT time I arrive in the UK, the weather will be a lot more 'tourist-friendly' than what you both found in Syd-er-ney :!: :clown:

Well don't come in March Robyn, it has lived up to the saying, 'March came in like a lion.'
More high winds promised for tonight & we still haven't had the roofing tiles put back since the last lot.

1913 since it was so early, & 137 years until it is as early again.
Many schools are taking a 'Spring Holiday' this year, middle 2 weeks in April, & just having Good Friday & Easter Monday off. Possibly a good idea, as others return 31.03.08 for the 'Summer term.'
It does mean that there are 'cheap holidays' to be had for the first week of April.

What exactly is the "Summer Term", Jackie :?:
Our schools here usually close in mid-to-late June to early September for the summer

Here in GA, schools are out by the third week in May, and back in session by the second week in August. CJ

Summer term starts after Easter until late July.
6 weeks holiday until early Sept.
However some authorities are attempting to make all terms the same length, hence the alteration from Easter holiday, to a Mid April Spring holiday.
