Peter Knego's Buy part of an old ship
Welcome on board MidshipCentury.com, your exclusive place to shop for one-of-a-kind remnants of some of the great passenger ships of the mid-twentieth century! Whether it be a small light fixture or a set of chairs for your dining room, a decorative artwork, or a strip of nickel plated handrail, we are certain you will find something of interest in these pages. Please come back periodically as new things will be added on a regular basis. Midships: The most desirable portion of the ship, where (due to the center of gravity) there was the least amount of movement on long sea voyages. Most liners had their first class accommodation placed here. Mid-Century: A term used to describe the modernist stylings of the post war world, when mankind looked toward future advancement and innovation. http://www.midshipcentury.com/

If any of you read through the link to Reuben Goossen's Memorium to the Norway that I posted last night, there was an interesting  comment regarding this. Briefly paraphrased, it stated something along the lines of "at least one maritime personality would probably be welcoming the event as he would now have the opportunity to ship many more crates of memorabilia back to the US to sell at a profit" This comment has since been removed and replaced with: "There was another comment here yesterday. Please Note: It was in no way related to Peter Knego." No, of course it wasn't, never even entered my mind
