Poker Cruise news!!!!
Hi, just wanted to share some info that I found out interesting, the guys from World Poker Showdown are hosting a poker cruise april 22 - 29 2007 on the beautiful "Mariner of the Seas", one of the best ships in the world.
Ports: Labadee, Ocho Rios, Grand Cayman and Cozumel Mexico.
Boarding will be at Port Canaveral, Florida april 22 at 5pm.
These guys right now are having a major poker tournament at St. Maarten, and they constantly hosting land based tournaments in different locations such as Costa Rica too.
These guys sure know how to have fun!!! Thumbs up for WPS!!!

I read some place that the rates at the ship are like $500 and up, not that expensive and I was waching some pics, beautiful!!

I would never win anything...can't keep a straight face.
Have watched them in Las Vegas...very interesting.
My husband's family could hardly wait for family dinners to be over...so they could start playing poker.
The stakes were never high...although come to think of it..Pat may have wagered me in the excitement of a game.... :shock:
Best I could do were the Blackjack machines.
But my brother's wife when she was alive could sit at a Blackjack table for so many hours ...that she could hardly move...and bet big money.
Card games can confuse me ...heck I cannot even win at Monopoly.
Welcome poker.player! Not a bad price for a cruise! I don't think I would want to play poker on that cruise though :lol: Those guys are serious poker players!!! I watched them play at the tournament 2 years ago in St. Maarten at Casino Royale. Then I went out to the slot machines and actually won a few bucks! :lol:

i played in a torunament at the strat in Vegas! Wow I am just bad a poker, not a bad 10th, but still, Matt was 6th, but the money winners were 4 and up!
But poker on a cruise! Nicey
I'm not a great poker player myself, but I enjoy it anyway, the thing with this cruise is that WPS is offering more chips for our money and longer levels so I guess the tournament would last longer than usual!
longer or not, i am more likely to go all in on 7/2 offsuit just to see what happens
