Phyllis, Perfect example while our day in St. Thomas is going to be a Sea Day for me.... Toooooo crowded.... and we miss another opportunity to see you with your thong  (Years go by and I wonder how long you can wear it ! ) Not all places are too crowded: Be careful ! A Thong in the right hands can be a weapon. Spandex can be stretched around a neck and pulled very tight. They do not call me "Le Garrote " for no reason.

3 Sisters

Kiwi Kruzer- 01-17-2007

3 Sisters Wonder how much that would cost to go through the locks?

wolfgang- 01-18-2007

No mystery: http://www.pancanal.com/eng/maritime/tolls.html 2.8$ per ton If you estimate the weight of such a ship with 4 tons, you get 10 $. This made me wondering, so I googled: transit fee Panamacanal and found : They charge a minimum of 500 $ for a yacht up to 50 feet, 750 $ up to 80 feet, and 1000 $ up to 1000 feet. This was in 2001, but it should be enough, to get an imagination. BTW: this "google" took me to a lot of interesting reports of world travellers, who transited the canal on their trip, and their adventures are really worth to be read!!

Very interesting .Thanks Wolfgang. I think Ive seen pics before where they put yachts in the locks with freighters that dont take up all the space, and they all go through together.

BDAdaughter- 01-19-2007

N Pearl Miami - anyone hear about a cam for her :?: :?: :?:

Dani- 01-19-2007

I keep seeing these beautiful NCL ships coming out and then I read these bad reviews. Some of the reviews are just brutal. The recent reviews of the Hawaiian cruises are just really bad. Never traveled on this line. Wish I knew if it was really that bad...because sometimes they have good prices and routes. Is the whole line really that bad ? :?:

KimiLuvs2Cruise- 01-19-2007

I traveled NCL, long long time ago, it was my first cruise, on the Dreamward, now the Dream, had no complaints, but I was 21, sailing with my rents and their friends, I had a tendency to get lost here or there
