Great Sapphire shots, David :) She did look mighty HUGE next to the Hilton though  Love the panorama of where QM2 will dock! Are you going down for a look or will you already be aboard Oriana?

Something a little different. Heres how they handle the luggage for Sapphire (and all other ships)at the Overseas Terminal at Circular Quay Sydney. Taxis and coaches pull in at the upper level, bags put into waitng truck and driven down to lower level and ship, then all unloaded again and onto conveyor belt and into ship. Oh well it passed the time while waiting to get control of cam........

Ok, call me a wimp but can someone explain to me why someone would do a Cruise that is in the winter, to a place with snow?? Where you would do cold things??? To me that's insane.........Why would anyone want to do that?? I can't see spending your vacation going to, around, in or out of snow...... But that's me...... Helsinki being the example......

jackie- 02-04-2007

I feel the same Debbie, but my brother-in-law in Canada loves the winters, because to him there are more activities- hunting, fishing, shooting and skiing. BUT NOT CRUISING.

Ok, call me a wimp but can someone explain to me why someone would do a Cruise that is in the winter, to a place with snow?? Well I am doing it because the ship meets up with Queen Victoria for the first time. I will let you know if it was a good idea or not when I get back.
