The Spencer on Byron cam at Takapuna,Auckland was behaving itself tonight ,so I managed to get Sapphire leaving at sunset.She departed at 6pm and around 7.30 this evening we should get a view of of her as she sails past our bay,all lit up, in the distance.This is her last Auckland to Sydney run.Next time she leaves Ak she will heading back to LA.

I did not realize when we were in Bonaire how many cams there are... a downtown one we could have used for a stalk. We need to remember these if we have anyone else that goes there... Here is a neat windsurf cam.

I was watching the Port of Otago's webcam in Dunedin, the one they have at Taiaroa Heads, to try and catch Pacific Princess heading out to sea.Missed the ship, as it must have passed too close in .The Heads are a sanctuary for the Albatross that nest on shore. I think this bird must have been looking over the cliff at the ship passing below at that time.
