What is the tall building on the left of picture ? How tall is it ? Hong Kong It is named Two International Finance Centre, has 88 floors, and is 415 m or 1,362 ft tall.

Thanks. It looks sooooooooo tall.. When I worked for Sears, they had the managers from around the country come to the tower for meetings all the time... Nothing like sitting in on a meeting on the 100th floor and feeling the building sway...

Thanks Manuela...hey, everybody, I'm travelling up to Hong Kong for a mini-getaway for 5 days/4nights mid-October. (meeting fabulous cruising mates from Tahitian Princess 2004  who hail from San Diego..haven't seen them for a year or so) Sorry to hijack the thread, but....any tips on what a gal should/should not do in HK?????? I am sure there must be many of you who have seen more of HK than I have in previous years) :?: :?: Being such a loooong way from anywhere, I've always been on my way 'through' to Europe...this will be my first (brief) visit......thanks :D

Robyn, This "Popping over " is getting very depressing to a person in Kansas ! You just "Pop Over " to Hong Kong ? :( Too right, I am gonna "Pop Over " to my local Chinese restaurant ! My sister always bought jewelery in Hong Kong. Thought she got great deals. Now other can tell you what to see... I understand the sidewalks are very, very crowded...be careful ... and the bikes are ridden everywhere at high speeds. They already have a building that will make you feel like at home.

   Ah Dani, you see, I convinced them that flying to HK was at LEAST 6 hours or so LESS than travelling to San Diego again. :D Fabulous friends who I spent 10 days with LAST year,on my way to Venezia to meet Liz, Terry et al, but I miss them and their brilliant company, so we shall have at least a few days together in HK after their tremendous 3 weeks (including Yangtze cruise) China trip!

Ok Robyn, I'm changing the topic... I'm sitting here dreaming of tropical places. :D

Wow, I must have been in some big dream... I uploaded the image to TinyPic and it still came out huge! :D
