I am sure they will have warm clothes with them Liz; they will be used to the vagries of Lancashire weather ( 80F yesterday)
49F in Bar Harbour this morning, but it is still early. Looks a beautiful day, so might warm up nicely.
Just checked the Spitzbergen cam again. TOTAL WHITEOUT.....you can see NOTHING  Course, it is probably pretty dark there, now, too
good morning maui
Thats an interesting capture which shows what the sea (ocean) can be like around Maui.It is open to the ocean swells and that is where the ships stand, off or anchor, and try to tender passengers ashore.
Been there twice on a cruise and both times had to miss going ashore because it was too rough.
Guess it is the luck of the draw. They either do scenic cruising or head back to have an extra afternoon in Honolulu.
David,
That is horrible. To miss Maui. Truly it is in my opinion the best to the islands.
We were lucky to have two days there anchored.
We rented a car and went up in the mountains to a small winery. Up there it was like Colorado...fur trees, etc. Cool.
Then we spend the other day at the beach.
We could not get in to see The Garden Island Kauai ...that we were sorry to miss.
We spent two days in Hilo , instead. One would have been enough. Kona on the other side was okay but no beaches on the Hilo side and after the volcano which looks like the moon...we were ready to move on.
Cruising is the best way to see multiple islands ..I would like to cruise over and back...we just cruised over and flew back...12 hours. Ugh.
Looks like rough seas in Rarotonga today as well.
Rain clouds rolling in and surf breaking on the shore.
Tahitian Princess may not be able to tender passengers ashore.
It is all very well going ashore by tender but they have to get them back on board .Its a long way back to Tahiti!

Lili Marleen coming into Warnemunde this morning  Mona Lisa is there, too. Should be visible on
