Cable car is MUCH faster...and more comfortable. I had no idea who Golden Prince was/is when I took pictures of her in Crete July 2005. I sent an inquiry and pics to the editor of Cruise Travel mag, and he sent me the Simplon link. First time I had heard of Simplon, and it is bookmarked...There are so many of these old ships in Europe that we never hear about on this side of the pond, because they are not marketed to us. CJ

Kristen, I seem to remember reading somewhere that Alaskan King Crab season starts in October??? But, I am not sure and I can't seem to find anything at the moment to back that up. Not sure if Discovery is running Deadliest Catch this season but I would hope so. It's a great program and has a lot of viewers.
