:D :D :D Stephen, how great, but we need MUCH MORE :D :D

Lancashirelad- 09-25-2007

Thanks Liz, those are just to give a clue of what it was like. Lots more to come. :D

Liz- 09-25-2007

Lord, it is not easy. Spent much of today, trying to get photos and videos and some text organized from my cruise. It takes FOREVER, to upload videos, plus the time it takes to put them together with Movie Maker :shock:cry:  There has got to be a quicker way :?: :?: :?:

Lancashirelad- 09-25-2007

We got a new video camera for this cruise, got lots of small clips, but need to work out how to put them into one long movie :?. I will get there in the end.

Liz- 09-25-2007

If you have Windows XP, you should have Movie Maker :?: :?: But it still takes, seemingly, FOREVER. You can join the clips, on Movie Maker, but that takes a while. And then you have to upload them. I have been using Photobucket. Don't know if there is anything faster. Have only got four vidoes done and uploaded at the moment, and they would make no sense, without some text and pictures, too

Very nice Lancashirelad :D

Lancashirelad- 09-26-2007

Thanks Galaxy :) Hopefully I will get the videos sorted before December

What a shame that the skies were so' laden!'

Lancashirelad- 09-27-2007

What a shame that the skies were so' laden!' It was a lovely day when we left Southampton, and nice in Scarborough although windy. The rest of the time the weather was not that bad, apart from Liverpool, where we had to go back to the ship and change everything after that stalk. Even there is came up nice in the afternoon.

Liz- 09-27-2007

Thank Goodness for that :D I really had visions of you being drenched and freezing, much of the time

A few more pictures for you :) Leaveing Southampton Scarborough, South Bay Newcastle upon Tyne (Port of Tyne)

Liz- 09-27-2007

You didn't go into Scarborough, did you, Stephen. Just close enough for them to see you and to be seen :?: :D

alanm- 09-28-2007

Liz, she came in close enough to be seen and to pick up Sir Jimmy Saville from a small boat - I was in the South Bay and stood there absolutely mesmerized :) It was a beautiful warm sunny day although as Stephen said a bit windy and my first sighting of QE2 was worth the drive to get there. Such a shame it was so horrible in Liverpool, when I met Stephen and Jean I had only been out of the car about 15 minutes, we then went for a coffee and walked about 15 minutes back to the ship/car park and all 3 of us had to get changed - me stripping off in an underground carpark  Luckily no one about, as far as I know
