Robyn, That is why they invented "Hip Flasks ". A nip of cognac will warm the cockles of your heart. For your edification : To warm the cockles of your heart implies a feeling of pleasure and affection. The cockles here are said to come from the belief that 17th century anatomists likened the shape of the ventricles of the heart to that of the marine mollusc of the same name and, of course, the heart has always been regarded as the seat of love and affection.

Oh yes, it was a bit brisk that day in NYC on the Times Square Cam :D :D :D http://www.jigzone.com/z.php?i=70125980200&z=29

Maria, if I win enough I will pay for all our UK and German members to come over on QE2 then the US members can join us in New York and we will all sail over to Oz. Unfortunately, I don't think I will be that lucky. :) :) I will be in Oz , waiting to greet you:!: No sailing, it will have to be a flying visit by all of you.

Im afraid the only way that I would get down there is by good old briny.

I am certain that if Stephen wins a HUGE amount to have us all in a cruise that he will be more than happy to provide the COGNAC to warm our hearts! Now I’ll be spending my nights dreaming of this great adventure that could happen!!!

I have had some E-Mailversations back and forth about this with John McFarlane of the World Ship Society, Port of New York branch. He is hoping that all three of them might dock together at the New York Passenger Ship Terminal. Wouldn't THAT be nice :D , but probably won't happen  ALSO, he seemed very interested in the stuff I sent him about Robyn's and my Sydney Harbor cruise to welcome QM2 and QE2 into town. Am hoping that PONY might consider doing a similar charter for the 3 Queens.......not overnight, of course, but maybe for the sail-away and the, hopefully accompanying, fireworks :?: :?:

m_doiron- 09-11-2006

I played the clarinet for about seven years, but I have better "MANners" than to start something about it being "long, black, and rigid". Mark
